
About The Founder: Yvonne E. Noel, MD
Dr. Yvonne Noel has practiced OB/Gyn in Brooklyn, New York for over 40 years. Herareas of special interest have included uterine fibroids, menopause and minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. She currently practices at Boro Park Obstetrics andGynecology providing a full spectrum of care to women of all ages.Dr. Yvonne Noel was born in Aruba, West Indies and immigrated to the United States when she was seven years old.
She is a graduate of Hobart and William SmithColleges. ​​She obtained her medical degree from The Chicago Medical School-Rosalind Franklin University and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from SUNY Health Science at Brooklyn-Kings County Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Pelvic Surgery at SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse.Dr. Noel has published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been a member of the North American Menopause Society, the Society of Laparo-endoscopic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the Brooklyn Gynecologic Society. ​​
She has received a Recognition Award from the New York Methodist Hospital Physicians Alumni and was awarded Attending of the Year by the resident staff at New York Methodist Hospital. She received the Distinguished Health Care Professional Award at the Cable Television Community Achievement Award ceremony.Dr. Noel holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Education Conservation from NewYork University. ​
As an environmental advocate and educator, Dr. Noel co-founded ElNoel Eco-Center for Integrative Wellness in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn with a focus on improving the mental and physical states of community members through mind-body wellness and conventional gynecologic education.
